Our worship experience...

Might involve things you aren't used to, such as raising hands, kneeling, clapping, or even crying. Yet these and other expressions are simply a natural reaction to God's presence and are found throughout the scriptures.

Lifting Up Hands

As the worship begins and the Holy Spirit touches hearts, an attitude of thanksgiving and surrender sometimes causes us to lift our hands.
( Psalm 63:4, Psalm 134:2)

Clapping Hands

There are times of great joy and celebration in the church, and clapping hands is a way for us to praise God.
(Psalm 47:1)

Kneeling, Weeping and Rejoicing

As we realize who we are, compared to the awesomeness of God Almighty, kneeling can become a natural expression of meekness, humility and submission. Worshipping God can elicit both joy and tears.
( Psalm 149:2, Psalm 95:6)
