R E N E W is the adults ministry group for those in their 30's and older, regardless of marital status. The name was inspired by Isaiah 41:31. "...but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. The will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

Mission Statement

Empowering our community to faithfully use the gifts God has given us for His Kingdom.

What We're About

  1. Developing Intimacy with God
  2. Building authentic Christian community
  3. Equipping our community members to fulfill their God-ordained destinies
  4. Outreach to the lost and poor

RENEW reflects our identity. Being more seasoned in life, we are a group aware of our brokenness and need for God's touch and healing. As we place our hope in Him, we are renewed to walk, run and soar with the gifts entrusted to us. Thus, the name reflects who we are, in need of God's renewal, and how we want to live, walking out our faith.

We recognize that people in our stage of life, both married and single, have a lot of responsibilities, busy schedules, significant relationships and mature careers, so we need to be purposeful in how we spend our time. We have a need for community and spiritual growth but aren't necessarily looking for a lot of activities.

Consequently, the emphasis of the Renew ministry is two-fold. First, we are encouraging participation in HouseGroups. Small groups are the best way to get to know people, learn the Bible, grow in our use of spiritual gifts, and receive support and encouragement.HouseGroups are wherechurch gets lived-out. Please reference the HouseGroups board at church for a list of small groups.

The second major emphasis of this ministry is holding quarterly social events. Renew social events provide a forum for having fun, hanging out and meeting new people. They also offer a place to incorporate those outside our community. Please check out our
