The Next Generation...
Sunday School—Nursery and
Pre-School
Jesus has given us the privilege of communicating the
message of who he is to the children. Caring Sunday
school teachers provide vital, personal contact in which
they model the committed love of Jesus. We want to share
the blessings of the Holy Spirit, the love of the Father,
and the friendship of Jesus with the children in a way
that they can understand and integrate into their young
lives. We communicate that through worship, age-appropriate
Bible studies, fun and games, and through fostering
healthy peer relationships. Teachers are selected on
the basis of Christian maturity and the ability to work
with children - we believe that God is requiring the
best ministry possible for the future leaders of His
church.
K.I.D.S. Church - 1st through
5th Grades
Kids in Divine Service (K.I.D.S):
This Children's Celebration is for 1st through 5th graders.
It includes group singing, prayer, Bible story lessons,
and small group time. Our focus is on their relationship
with God and with each other, through teaching, training,
and equipping the children for ministry and outreach.
Family Costume Party
This party is an alternative
to Haloween held October 31. Geared for children 3 to
10 years old. Includes games, face painting, crafts
and bags of goodies & loads of fun.
Baby Dedications
The consecration of a child
to the Lord and His service is a privilege that Vineyard
Evanston desires to share with our parents. In giving
our children to the Lord, we are not only evoking His
blessing, but also making a community commitment to
train up this child in ways of the Lord and to support
the parents as they raise their child as a child of
God. If this is your desire, please contact the church
office, and a date for the dedication will be arranged.
