Care Center

The Evanston Vineyard Care Center is committed to restoring hope, promoting dignity, and celebrating empowerment in order to see lives change. As the hub for care ministries within the church, we are dedicated to listening to one another, offering practical support and introducing people to God’s life-changing power. Get involved by emailing [email protected].

We empower individuals who do not have regular opportunities to find support. At Resource Connections, we match individual’s needs with a database of resources created specifically for our community. Resource Connections partners with small groups and outside organizations for monthly workshops, as well as Resource Fairs and Resource Drives throughout the year.

Open every Wednesday, 6:00–8:00pm.

Free diapers available on the first and third Wednesdays of each month. To register, you must bring your child, plus identification for both you and your child. Once registered, only your ID is needed each time.

A free computer lab is available to use each week

We strengthen families who are in crisis or vulnerable to separation by empowering parents and helping families stay together.

We partner with Safe Families, a ministry that assists children with temporary housing while helping parents get needed help and support. You can become a Host Family by housing children or a Family Friend by supporting Host Families.

We help people find affordable, new and gently used clothing, in all sizes. We have a prayer team available, and partner with groups that provide activities for kids. Proceeds made from the clothing go towards creating jobs within the Clothes Closet. We focus on partnering with local organizations that work with the homeless and at-risk youth, train them for a set amount of time, and become a job reference for future employment.

Open every Wednesday, 6:00–8:00pm.

We distribute bagged groceries to families in need. The Harvest opened in January 2005 serving 3–5 families a week. Our ministry has grown and we now serve 250 families each week.

The Harvest serves anyone who needs to make ends meet. Email [email protected] to get involved.

Wednesdays • 6:00–8:00pm

We partner with World Relief to lead weekly English tutoring classes throughout the year.

We offer resources and support and connect people to long-term employment.

Our Job Program partners with area churches to empower unemployed or under-employed people with character and skills training needed to retain employment. Groups of 5–25 people attend weekly courses, and mentors walk alongside each candidate throughout.

Our Business Development Program provides résumé building, mock interviews, and computer training. We partner with local businesses for annual Job Fairs and job training.
